Growing up, and especially during my teen years, my father told me: Things end the way they begin. With that in mind, I’d like you to revisit The Road Warrior’s Guide to Plugging In posted January 2012. Here’s the link: http://archives.cozycouplesmag.com/RWG-jan-2012.html.

The holidays are upon us. For many, it’s a time of reflection. What goals did you set in January? How do you rate your progress? I’d rate our progress a seven on a scale of 1-10, with one being truly piss poor, and ten being fabulous. We didn’t do everything we suggested in the guide, but we some of it. And, some ideas really provided “ah ha” moments. The February guide found here: http://archives.cozycouplesmag.com/RWG-feb-2012.html and the March guide located here: http://archives.cozycouplesmag.com/RWG-feb-2012.html turned out really great for us. Overall, our communication, which wasn’t awful to begin with, improved after we learned more about how our personality styles can work together more efficiently.

Check out my personal goals for 2012:

And, here’s my assessment:

Our 2013 goals aren’t complete, and neither are my personal goals, but we’ll set them, in writing, and post them in their usual place.

“Things end the way they begin.” Begin your year, month, week, day — with goals. End them with more goals. Why? Because you’re not dead yet.
